Inspection before starting the bulldozer

Check the appearance of the whole machine, observe whether there are signs of oil and water leakage on the parking ground, whether the hydraulic pipelines, circuit pipelines, control valves, etc. are abnormal, clean up the impurities around the radiator, and ensure the normal operation of the cooling system.

Empty the water in the fuel tank and oil-water separator.

Check the liquid levels of engine oil, hydraulic oil, transmission oil, transmission case oil, main clutch oil, coolant, urea solution, etc. to ensure that they are in a standard state.

Wipe off the anti-rust oil on the piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder, and inject new grease into each grease nipple of the whole machine until the old grease is completely discharged (except for the tensioning cylinder).

Remove the turbocharger oil inlet pipe, inject a small amount of oil and retighten it, which can effectively prolong the life of the turbocharger.

The key switch is in the ON gear, check whether there is a fault code or alarm prompt on the instrument, and start the engine after confirming that it is correct.

For the national IV bulldozers, please confirm that the regeneration switch is in the neutral state, the passive regeneration of the after-treatment system can be carried out automatically, and at the same time, it can effectively prevent the speed limit and torque limit caused by the abnormal switch.

The key switch should not be in the starting gear for more than 10 seconds. If the engine is not successfully started for the first time, it will take 30 seconds to start it again. If the engine fails to start 3 times in a row, check and troubleshoot.

After starting, it should run at idle speed for 3~5 minutes to allow the engine to be fully lubricated and the temperature of the coolant to rise gradually. During this process, do not increase the engine speed. The viscosity of the oil is high at low temperature. If the speed is high when the machine is cold, the engine will not be lubricated effectively, which will easily cause early wear and tear.

When the ambient temperature is lower than -10°C, after idling for 5 minutes, warm-up operation should be carried out, medium-speed accelerator, operation of lifting cylinder, tilting cylinder, forward and backward walking, gear change, etc., so that the machine can gradually reach the best working state.
